5000 Fried or Frozen??

My 5000's screen will turn on and that is it! It WILL NOT boot up. It just sits on the "Loading..." screen. Anybody ever have this problem? Or possibly know whats going on? Thanks

what disk is the MPC5K booting from? if it's the harddisk or CF-card, try reseting the machine, and making it boot up from internal flash memory instead.
here's how: Power on the MPC5000 while holding down the ERASE button (this will reinitialize the MPC).
hopefully it's just currupted boot file causing your problem. I've had boot errors a couple of times, caused by bad files. search this forum about how to save files and avoid errors.

Hey ..I´ve just experienced that same problem..but when i tried to re-boot by pressin erase but then nothing came on the screen, so now its completly dead..

can someone help me??
