I got that Quiklok rack back in 03...originaly I thought it was quite flimsy when being assembled but once it's all up and with a few bits of gear in there it's all cool.
I used to have a S-2800 in there many moon's ago, Novation drum station and that Micro Q
The Akai there is a 3200XL, it holds it nicely and doesn't shake about, just don't stick it on the bottom cos the damn thing is too damn deep lol
It's a nice cheap rack and I like that it's angled.

cool, thanks, I might get one. I don't mind that I won't be able to put it at the bottom, and the angle is nice. I've currently got my 3000 in this custom cabinet, but as it's right at the bottom I still get a bad neck trying to use it, and it's too damn deep to fit anyway!

Ouch man! that is low, I feel for you...I worked like that for a long time with my rack pieces, neck and back ache indeed

I'm going to re-do the room in a few weeks after my bro leaves and should have more space to play with..

another option to save my neck is that I'm looking at a patch bay, I could but that right on the bottom and put the 3000 on top, which would raise it up a couple of inches ... still not great though!

but I got the cabinet made for the 3000, if I stop using it my girlfriend might ask wtf I bought it for!
the electribes (two in the pic and another one at the back of the top shelf) take up all the shelf room now!

My humble abode... The macbook pro is new.

Nice setups. Vinyl, which mackie desk is it that you're using, 24.8 or 32.8?

Cheers, that is a 32.8 It belongs Mark Andrews who occasionally posts on this forum. He sold the Mackie and is now mainly working with Logic but at the same time trying to get a SP-1200

Looks like Jackson Pollock got ahold of your Mp... Interesting. It's actually cool to see the MV next to an Mp. That MV looks like a Cadilac. I've never had the chance to use one, but I really like Roland and wish they made a smaller version in the Mv line. You can actually use Roland stuff right out of the box. Shitt works, and works well, for years.
