Where the vets at? Old a$$ MPC to CEP issue...

So its been a HOT minute since I've posted on here; took a little vacation from the music schtick. Well, suffice to say, I'm back in the game. Been so long tho, I've forgotten some basics that I had locked down. At the moment, my problem is syncing CEP 2.1 to my MPC for recording. I can get CEP to play when I press play on my MPC, but can't for the life of me remember how to get it to record. Tried searching, and all I can come up with are solutions to sync, which I got, but not to sync while CEP is recording.

Im far from a Pro, but what medium are you using to link the MPC to your tower or laptop? Example (M-Audio Midi Interface)
