check it out, its called "sumthin sumthin" i put it together this weekend, i challeged myself to do a beat by the end of the weekend, and i did it, im unhappy though, its not how i invisioned it when i heard the samples.

i got a little kicker happy too, you may notice that

im still having trouble with the transitions, intros, and outros

if i could change anything, it would be the amout of time i wasted on a throw away, i put wayy too much time in this one. anyways, check it out, and any feedback is appreaciated.]

this is my 2nd full beat on the mpc1000

Matt,
I checked out your beats man. The first one Something something is ok. The problem is u got a lotta samples u changing all the time. Pick one sample u like the best and let it run through the verse section.
The other beat u got, man this bassline u got on there is way too loud and annoying to have it all the time. It is cool for an intro but not all the time. Change it with some deep bass.
holla at me:

the samples are sick but are changed way too much the drum pattern doesnt fit the samples and those drums are some wack stuff. for real those drums are so wack. its to fast of a pattern and the actual sound jsut doesnt fit the sample. dont take this offensively cuz im nto attacking you im trying to help but it may sound like im not but whatever. yeah on both those tracks the drum sounds are wack to start with and dont fit either of the beats. i dont know where you got them but try to get some other drum sounds somewhere. but if you got a table i highly suggest sampling your drum sounds and pitching them, filtering, and what not to get the best drum sounds.

oh shit matt!!. don't listen to those fools. you're on the right track. do what feels right for the song and for you. i actually like how there was a bunch of samples in something something. it kept it interesting. the only thing i agree with was that myabe the bass was a little load on the first one. but imagine if all that bass line was with some crazy a*s drums. like a non-stop, and on-time, drum solo!!! keep doing what you're doing

oh man, i love it when peopel are straight with me. i have no one helping except those who tell me what im doign wrong, and that enough of a push, cause whn people tell you what your doing right, you'll end up sounding like them.

no offense taken

the only time i get vexed and discouraged is when people come down on my rhymes, thats about it. otherwise im not selfconscious
