can't get my wav. files to play on my mpc!

I just got my mpc yesterday and today i tried to load some of my samples from FL studio 9 i save them to my MPC CF card and then i tried to load them and i get a "WRONG FILE" message what do i do? how can i get the files to work they are .wav files so i don't know what i'm doing wrong please help

Make sure the wav is in a 16bit 44.1

in the future the search option might have been quite helpful had you searched "wrong file" you would have got an answer..

thanks! but sometimes i'm an idiot and as i said, i just got my MPC so i know very little n/e wayz how do i go about finding out if its is what you say(16bit 44.1 format) ? and how do i change it?

you can do this with a software audio editor... that would also allow you to change & save the files under the proper WAV format in the case that they are incorrect... one free audio editor that you can download for free is called AUDACITY.

and also just to add, i use adobe audition to change the audio file type.
