This was 2 years ago, cant remember seller but he was the real deal.. My came with 272 meg ram. 60 gig hard drive, adat and digital option...I upgraded ram and hard drive since then.. but trust me I got lucky..

I paid $2400 for my blue ver from zzounds with half those option, so when i found the white 4000 brand new with $1100 "buy it now" option I jump on it quick.. But i'll tell you this $2300 for a brand new white 4000 is still a good price..

I love my 4000 if something was to happen to mines, had to buy another and found a brand new one for $2300 i'll buy it in a heart beat

Hey Shoosh-lo! Love the name mate! :>:>
FOR SURE u got lucky.. the Adat and Digital alone cost alot to buy now! damn.. :o
2 years ago ey?? yeah i remember 2 years ago there were a couple online shops selling there last MPC 4000's (blue ones). I was this (.) close to buying one but didnt at the end for some reason.. maybe word of the 5000 comin out?? anywayz, up until now ive been kicking myself for not buying one of those.. Call me crazy but i really do have a physchological problem with buying 2nd hand gear, after buying some other gear with dirt/shit in and near the buttons & knobs.. Esp if the piece im buying is the HEART/BRAIN of the studio too!!
Anywayz, thanks for the 're-assurance' on my costly purchase.. lol
CANT wait to experience :
- Recording (sampling) WHILST seq is playing
- 24 bit sound
- The whole project inside ONE machine
- MUCH higher PPQ resolution!!
- Higher velocity sensitivity on the pads
- ETCETCETC looking forward!

Happy muzik making my friend!
All the best.
