There's more than one way to do it.
If you have the
whole track inside the MPC, and the EXM128 memory upgrade, then you can "resample" the track as a single WAV
- set Record source to "Main Out"
- Set sample length to the length of your track or longer.
- Start sampling and hit Play.
But in all other cases, you're working in the audio domain. This is also true if you use external modules, FX, and a mixer, then you can't do it all in the MPC anyway. So a decent soundcard and a program like SoundForge, WaveLab, Cool Edit Pro / Adobe Audition, will do the job, as you say.
