jj os 3.09 audio recording latency (delaY)

helo i have trouble in jj os 3.09 ,new 3.11 the same.

WHEN I RECORDED AUDIO (MY GUITAR) ON 61 TRACK -THE AUDIO SIGNAL IS DELAYED?
EVERY THINGS WHICH IS RECORDNIG ON TRACK 61-64 WHEN I PRESS PLAY ,I HEAR
THAT IS DELAYED.I DON'T KNOW WHY .
HELP ME...))

I don't know if the free JJOS has it, but on OS1 there is a "shift timing" field which shifts all the notes you play forward or backward

in free jjos i hanen't time shifting:( but why is recording w with delay??

I don't know anything about that version, but with OS-XL the audio tracks have random amounts of delay at the start of recordings, due to latency. I've requested it be fixed, but they claim it cannot be done. You have to go into trim, and manually move the start forward to try and compensate for it. With your problem it might be a similar situation.

Try turning off the click metronome. For me, it records fine w/ the click "off", but when I needed the count-in and I turned the click "on", then all of a sudden there was a delay of about an 1/8th note. I turned it back off and everything was fine. If you need it to keep timing, just program a HH on an empty track to play along with instead, then you can delete afterwards.

I still can't figure out how to copy/paste segments of a recorded audio track though. I record a drum loop on track 1, then play my keyboard on track 61 for a few minutes just to lay down some ideas. But then if I find a part I like at bar 30, for example, I can't cut/paste or loop that part throughout the sequence. The only way I found to make a loop of that part is to re-sample that segment playing along with the drums, but then its permanent and I can go back later and mix the drums/keyboards differently if I want, which is stupid. I've never heard of a digital multitrack recorder that didn't have copy/cut/paste functions.

idk why it does that. Since I've owned this mpc, I do love its sound and the timing of its sequencer, but its the most screwy, cheap piece of equipment I've ever owned.
