you are going to need a computer to back them up. i have 2 zip drives, one on the computer and one on the mpc and it makes things really easy.

Without a computer, simply load 32MB into memory, replace the zip with a blank, save, then put the old disk back in, load up another 32mb, resave on the new disc, etc.

does this mean i have to save each folder and sounds individually? samples are in folders like drums, bass , guitar etc

The easiest way then is to load up all guitar samples, create a folder on your new disk called 'guitar' and save an APS in that folder - if you want the individual PGMs saved as well, you'll need to save each one individually
