The problem I have with Ableton is it doesn't do music notation. This is what seperates it from the major players. Everybody can't read music, so folks like this could care less about this feature.
If you're the kind that constructs their music instrument by instrument (no sampling), then you'll probably want to go the pro tools, nuendo, logic route or whatever, Live wouldn't fit the script.
So what I'm saying is all these daws have their merits and features (whatever they may be) that allow the user to maximize his/her talents/abilities.
