MPC 2500 OS UPGRADES

Do I have to install the upgrades in order or can i just do the latest: V.1.24??????

Also when i want to load the upgrade data to a cf card can i dump all the data on the factory cf card to my comp and then put it back on or do i need to buy a new cf card!?!?

If you want to massively open up the functionality of the 2500 then you should seriously consider the JJ OS upgrade.

Get JJOS you won't look back! Seriously!

so you obviously cant answer how u check the current OS system??

**** on here are dumb, they expect you to know everything about a piece of equipment that you might have just purchased, I cant stand this site, there is bunch of know nothing pricks on here acting like their big shit, but I dont see nobody on here famous because of their MPC...

honestly, i don't like this site much because there is so many know nothing pricks asking the same questions over and over. This forum is for sharing tips/knoweledge with cats that are like minded and dedicated to the craft. NOT for little dudes to get their hand held... either put in the work and time like everyone else or FALL THE FUSK BACK. if u can't figure out how to update the software of your $1000+ peice of equipment or loop a drum break, this shit probably isn't for you.

let me be clear, this ain't even aimed at the original poster, i can understand the question, "what is up with this JJ ish?". I can understand someone new to this site not even knowing what the hell JJOS even means. its more the dudes who are all, "how do i get jjos on my mpc" or "what features are different". that shiit can be answered with a few minutes of reseach. imagine if everyone on here just asked any question that posted into their head.

Oh and yes, i beleive you can update to whatever version.

Try mode+PAD13 to check your version

mode+pad13 can only see events/bars/trMove tabs.. and cant see OS info anywhere?
