Ableton Live 8 help

Was going to post this in the mpc500 room but its like a ghosttown in there.
How do I set up my 500 to trigger the drumrack in ableton. I was lookin for a vid on youtube but couldnt find one.

two words = MIDI cable

Nah... I use my Fantom but for portabilities sake id like to use my mpc. I know its something in the settings and my google searches have gotten me nowhere

Wow...took ,e all night but I figured it out. Ableton has an awesome drum rack similar to an mpc and i wanted to control it with my 500 instead of usin my keyboard or buyin an mpd. Now i can get some sleep. For those who question ableton because of years on an mpc
