Hello. So my problem is this: I have a snare and a kick. Not a complex pattern at all. Just the snares on the 2's and the kick's on the 1's. I then sampled from a record what seems like a synthy/stringy type sound and whenever I start playing the strings like a keyboard it appears that the snares and kicks are cutting it off. Whenevr I play the strings solo or something it sounds fine like I Want it to but then when I unsolo it it gets cut off again  I checked the mono/poly and the strings are set to Mono so it shouldn't be happening.

why should that matter? that means the strings won't cut themselves off, it doesn't mean anything about the drum samples cutting them off.

is the program set to mono?
