:D

he fixed the LOOP EDIT bug i reported, too. very fast!

i requested that the REVERSE play in the PROGRAM screen be added to os 2 as well, but Murai didn't think that was going to happen. oh well... doesn't hurt to ask. 8)

I reported this a week or so ago... Very happy to see my man back at it.

Are you refering to the movement in loop edit mode? I tried it in regular OS 2, and it seems to work great. (I just checked it out real quick as I had to go to work ,but still...) I have been messing around with XL but I'm still a little torn... Version 2 is really solid to me. XL does have some great features though. The time line bar in trim is the bomb.

yeah, after JJ added REVERSE play to the PROGRAM screen (one of my original #1 requests from when i first got my MPC) i installed the latest 2XL and gave it another try with an open mind. i really tried to like it but as soon as i started working with the qlinks & filters i remebered why i stuck with OS 2. there's just no getting around those lost capabilities for me. :(

i'm holding out hope that he can somehow get that REVERSE playback working in OS 2.

Nope - i am refering to the loop in the trim screen - it still behaves strange while loop is on and the start of the sample and the start of the loop are set on different positions and you zoom in.. - the playback position marker is being shown on wrong positions, the st and loop st are shown incorrectly etc... Did anyone else noticed?
