my floppy drive won't save :(

I get the screen up fine, but I hit F6/'Do It' and my MPC just stares at me. Every disc I try won't read properly and I can't even transfer the stuff I've already saved to my laptop via my usb drive. Made a heater today that I can't save... The real frustrating thing is that I bought a card reader to replace the floppy a long time ago, but gave up on it after I couldn't get the MP to recognize it Now I've got no choice

Are you using a MPC 2000 or MPC 2000XL? You will only be able to use a SCSI card reader in a MPC 2000. On the MPC 2000XL make sure you are running the 1.20 OS.

2KXL... I've got 1.14 now, but I remember nothing working right when I loaded up 1.20, hence me having to switch back. Guess I'll try it again. Thanks for the info.

I dunno I've heard 1.14 is the way to go for card readers... maybe I'm wrong.
