MTC Protools 8 (master) MPC (slave)

Hello All,

Has anyone synced up there 5000 to Pro Tools via MTC? If so, any issues?

I have mine set up in this fashion and am having problems with it keeping sync.

The click track doesn't sound like it is tight with my MPC sequence.

Responses are greatly appreciated.

How do I know if is staying locked?

When I record a MIDI sequence in Pro Tools it sounds good when recording but during playback it doesn't sound in sync.

Sounds more like you are dealing with latency than sync.
