HDD on the 500

I have often read about people who (for some reason) would hook up the MPC-500 to a harddisc. If you want to this is what you need:

Converts from CF card to rs-232.

Converts the rs-232 data to standard USB so that you can plug your external HDD up.

Have you actually tried this or just speculating?

I'm kind of skeptical that would actually work.

i wonder if it would work on a hard drive full of wav files?? better of just getting a computer though

I can't see why it wouldn't. The different protocols arent interrupted.
