hi all, was thinking of gettin mpc4000 but wanted to know how easy is it to fix pads on them can u still fix them....what bout other parts?
It's pretty easy to swap out anything that isn't working if you have any experience opening up a PC. The pads especially. Any part I've needed so far I've gotten thru http://www.mpc-stuff.com
They also have some instructional videos. I've posted about swapping out hard drives and the fan if you end up going that route as well. I am very happy with the 4000 on a daily basis as a music creating tool and its capabilities open up more over time.
