Warped vinyl???

I mean, the only reason I'm really trying it is cuz the warped record I found is black Moses by Isaac Hayes. So I HAVE to fix it

No, way too hot. That will melt the grooves and mess up the sound. I don't even use an oven (don't melt plastics in the place you cook/live, duh). I have used the glass plate method but only in the sunshine. I have made unplayable records playable, but they are still a little warped and some have a little distortion.

Also the article doesn't mention one important step: make sure everything is SUPER CLEAN first.

Isaac Hayes rules, but that album is not rare. You'll find another.

i figured that 350 would be too hot.. but you notice they didn't mention a temp. also for only 1 minute I wouldn't know..

but the sun idea sounds neat.

isaac hayes is the perfect record to test that out on... it is worth salvaging so if it works you win, but if it fails you dont really lose.

Q-bert did a trick way back in the 90's with 2 large pieces of glass (like off those glass end tables) put the vinyl in between and put it in the sun for like 10mins and flipped it over and it worked like butter!
