Its pretty cool to use, I would recommend it. It's good for controlling the parameters on the VST's and for doing mix downs.

Ive not tried it for anything else. i heard that you can use it as an midi controller for DJing (with the crossfader). But when setting it up the GUI software controls all your vst plug-ins. ive not been able to control parameters with a sound software, i.e Ableton. its hard to explain.

On the whole, its cheap and its good bit of kit. Check out some youtube videos on it if you tempted

Thanks man! I'm pretty satisfied with it too, it does everything i need plus it is very mobile and i need that.

Thanks man! its been awhile collecting... the sp-12 is great. posted a song in my music a few days ago that is just the sp 12.

+ macbook and home speakers not in the photo. i have to move in a couple months so ive been in this thread alot trying to get ideas on how to set it up a little better but mostly it just makes me want to get some new gear.
