MPC1000 RAM and CF card Recommendations

Is this ram will be read as 128 or 64 Mb ?? It is supposed t be the exact RAM as the EXM.. but check the price

I'm thinking of getting this store's RAM with the sample CD because I'm too lazy to search the Internet for all the free samples and download them. They claim to have 20,000 samples on a the CD. Is it worth it?

if you want the ram, buy it. the samples are probably mediocre, but if you're lazy then maybe they're good enough

I just bought the $11 stuff. I need to keep my cost down anyway to buy a pad upgrade.

Hi i'm a total newbie so sorry for the stupid question:

I just bought an mpc 1000 without a memory card. The only cards i see in the store are way to small to fit into the mpc's memory slot. Do they still sell the larger memory cards?

My mpc still has the original operating system which to my understanding can only take upto 2 gig cards. The cards that i have read at the beginning of this thread are no longer in production.

The MPC takes Compact Flash cards. There are other similar memory cards that are used in a range of different devices (cameras,mp3 players etc) that are much smaller than the Compact Flash cards that slot into the MPC. These must be the ones you are talking about.

I don't know where you are from, but you should definitely still be able to buy them.

Some problems with my MPC1000. I bought on ebay Samsung SDRAM 256MB PC133 144PIN CL-3. When install new ram my MPC not loading and stripes on screen. Without ram loading is ok. ...WTF??? O_o

your ram card is not compatible. Try a Kingston card, some cards just aint compatible

Where is ram & cf-cards blacklist? Add this f...n Samsung sdram in it.
