Mono Mode???

Is there a way to make samples trigger more like a one shot, but hitting a pad will bring it back to the begining like a stutter?
I've tired all the modes in my ZONE menu but all I get is AS SAMPLE, LOOP, NO LOOP and ONE SHOT! I checked the manual but thats all I find...

Set the polyphony amount to 1.

Is it possible to do this for just one pad or will it affect the whole program (kit)???
