i need to replace some dead tact switches on the 2kxl keypad and figure i might as well do them all at once. i went to radio shack and got the proper sized replacements (mpc 2000xl size is 6.2 x 6.2 x 5 mm high) but the problem was that the 4 legs on the switch that seats in the board were too short on the new ones i bought. since these buttons get pressed in i want to have full size legs for proper support, doing an extension solder mod to the cheap radio shack ones would not be strong enough to rely on. i should be able to track them down if i contact them but thought maybe someone already has this info to share.
