Bump.

I ended up keeping 600 records (movie soundtracks, funk, soul, jazz, rock) and sold the remaining ones. Got 300 bucks for it. So in the end i got 600 dope records (i only kept the ones i really wanted) for 500 bucks.

Thinking about it, i wouldn't do it again. The hassle of picking them up, going through them to sort out the good stuff, having them laying around in the appartment, selling them again, etc. is just not worth it. I mean, it was worth it for the records i kept, but overall just way too much work.

yeah well consider his location. Take each dollar to 3 dollar record and ship it to europe and then how much is it worth?

1) Sounds like you got a good deal even with some odds stacked against you
2) What you didn't want you were able to pretty quickly move which is awesome
3) You learned what you will and will not do again *without* getting burned

I mean hey, sounds like you made out like a bandit except for the time you had to sink into it.
