Hi,

I have been recently upgrading my mpc 1000 with a kingston 256mb ram and a 4 giga flash card. The machine recognise the ram and only got the factory samples in the internal memory. It was running fine for a week and since few days when i want to extract a sample or chop it,it says"insufficient memory".I have 3754mb card free,118,4 mb wave free,4,6 mb seq free.Is it a hard disk problem? Thanks for any help.

compact flash cards, hard drives, CDs, floppy disks, zip disks.... none of those are memory. not in any way shape or form.

RAM is memory. your machine can possibly allocate half of the 256 meg stick you installed in your machine... but dont expect it to run properly because it was not designed for that type of stick.
