Mpc's use more than just hiphop

Hey i wanted know what everyone use there mpc's for. What i mean is who use it more than just hiphop.
Reason im asking is i wanted do motown and other geners is dat possible??

doing motown can do some serious damage to the ad converters in your machine

LOL, I heard Roland is coming out with a machine that does everything else except hiphop. That's why they just lowered the price on their MV.

It's funny that this thread came up, because I literally just worked on some dubstep beats. I guess dubstep is pretty much a raver version of hip-hop, but whatever.

I'm trying to make a quick buck off the hipster kids around here because they're all into dubstep right now, and my friend knows a lot of promoters. So I figure that 2+2= $.

Your creativity is the biggest limitation. I've mashed symphonies in my mpc. Madlib mixes jazz records on Yesterday's New Quintet albums. It's up to you.

The mpc is nothing more then a blank piece of paper. Draw, paint, cut, copy paste whatever ur imagination comes up with.

i've used it primarily for hip hop beats but i've also used it to make electro and other dance stuff. I mean, it's a Midi Production Center. I can imagine that even people like Aphex Twin have used the MPC at one time or another.

oh yeah, you can definitely make aphex type of beats on the mpc. dont know if he ever used one though.
