do you guys know of any other sites besides whosampled that you can doublecheck to make sure something hasn't been sampled?

No site will leave you sure that a track hasnt been sampled, theres just too much to cover. Visiting those sites will only help you avoid sampling the classics.
If I want a little peace of mind, I use shazam and If it cant identify it, Im confident im using something thats obscure enough to have not been sampled already (though It still may have been sampled before).

i doubt everything has been sampled... i've found plenty of **** that hasn't been sampled to my knowledge. also, if it was sampled by a no-name and nobody's ever gonna hear it, that counts as not being sampled.
however, you're all right when it comes to adding your own flavor and all that. i've heard samples being flipped by 2 artists, one being awful and one being good, so the awful one doesn't even count after that.
