and now I'm here posting a new topic. Hopefully it is new and I don't catch flack, but it seems obvious

Is there a way that I'm missing with OS1 to play whatever sequence I'm working on, and then record a sample without the sequence stopping?

In JJOS2XL you can go to the record screen and record a sample without the sequence stopping until you hit STOP in the record screen. Dunno if that applies to JJOS1.
I wish you could record and keep samples and leave the sequence running constantly.
