Hey guys,

Finally got up on here, I'm new to the forum but not new to MPC's. I've used every MPC and am currently waiting on my third 1000 to come in (traded in other two blues I'd aquired for a new one with new pads + Focusrite interface) . I'm at work right now but I know I always quickly gave up on trying this so I figure one of you guys may know how to do it:

-How do you copy a sequence to itself!? Like copy and paste sequence 1 to the end of sequence 1 ie: making a 2 bar loop to 4 bars. Very simple task I'm sure.

What I would do is copy SEQ 1 to SEQ 2, set it up in song mode so its SEQ 1 to SEQ 2 and convert to SEQ 3. Then you have a 4 bar loop and you can now delete SEQ 1 and SEQ 2.

Thanks staks,

I knew I wasn't able to just copy a sequence to itself... Something that should definately be changed it is much more user friendly and makes working more intuitive. My sp1200 is this way and my arrangements come out much faster comparing this one operation alone. I will try this other way but doesnt seem very fast operating. I like to make my beats fast.. no, VERY FAST. Damn just made another one while I was typing this. Lol
