mpc wont read WAV files that i transfer from my computer???

using the usb connection i have been trying to transfer wav files from my computer onto my mpc.

i can succesfully transfer the files but i cant load them up in my mpc because it says either the file is unreadable or that it is corrupt.

i wanna chop my samples on the comp n play them on the mp.

anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that your wav files at 16bit and not 24bit.
