highpass filter on 2000xl

Can you tell me how to make highpass filter on 2000xl using EB-16? When I turn on "FILTER" on effects route and set gain of low frequencies about -40dB, I can't hear any differences, because "DIRECT SIGNAL" in mixer settings is on, and unprocessed signal is still covering processed signal without low frequencies. When I turn off "DIRECT SIGNAL" the "FILTER" works fine and low frequencies are cut, BUT SIGNAL IS IN MONO Can You tell me how to make highpass filter in STEREO?? thanx

I took my eb16 out some time ago so I forgot the specifics. But if its possible try panning hard left and hard right to recreate the stereo field. It would take another pad but thats all I can come up with off hand.

What exactly do You mean with panning left and right? When FX send level is max, panning in stereo section in mixer doesn't affect the sound.. I can't use another pad for that because I have sliced sample for about 30 slices and I want to all slices be filtered (highpass).

I think, that filter on EB-16 is totally useful because signal that passes the normal filter or EQ should be in 100% wet and mix (Dry/Wet) should not be adjustable for that type of effects.

you could shift+7 convert the sample from stereo to mono. under shift+6 set the Sound-----L and Sound-----R right channel to different notes, choose one, switch NORMAL to SIMULT,set note to whichever one you assigned the other channel to. under shift, pan L and R 90 degrees respectively.

something is routed improperly.You need to check you FX chain and mixer routing. the filter should work on both channels. sounds like the FX send is being sent to one of the outs that the post-fx Send is also assigned to.

erm...huh? On/Off is 100% or 0% I don't see any percentage values in fields at all for the 4-band filter. the only 0-100 values i see in any window is Mod/Echo in the effects mixer [that's MIXER or MIX box in the FX chain, NOT the master mixer at shift+7- F2] which coincidentally, when set to zero, make the sound monaural and on the left channel only.

you need to check your FX chain and your mixer routing. maybe bypass any unused effects in FXedit, but i doubt that's it.

1) if I had sliced sample into 64 pieces, I can't assign each to different pad and pan it to the left or right.
2) converting sample into mono will destroy stereo field and panning monaural sound will not recreate it, only pseudostereo maybe
3) effect routing isn't very advanced in 2kxl (three modes) and any of them don't work in my case
4) I had in fx settings percentage adjustments for: eq/distortion, mod/echo and reverb, BUT it is volume of PROCESSED signal, which is ADDED to dry signal and it isn't proportion between "Dry" and "Wet".

Ok, forget about mono or stereo. Just tell me how to cut low frequencies from sample using FILTER on EB-16 ok?
