USB hard drive with mac

i have a mac pro OSX 10.6 .. my hard drive for my MPC1K will not open via USB it just freezes on and says accessing... not sure if its a bug with JJOSXL 1.33 or the Mac OS any one else have this issue or any solution??

Try opening Disk Utility, see if it shows up there. my 2500 gave me the "accessing" screen once but didn't mount correctly on my Mac, clicked mount on Disk Utility and it came up then.'

sometimes it just takes a while until the drive shows up... or maybe try another usb-cable.
i just had this problem yesterday, but after changing the cable everything worked fine.

itsa usb1.1 interface on the 1000. kinda slow and buggy. i use a usb2 card reader thingy with my mac, and transfer is fast and error free

mine 2k5 is working with a mac snow loeoprad perfectly...

How long are you waiting? I'd second that it is slow... Don't rush your mpc!

on my mpc 2k5 and snow leopard it can take ± 1 minute unitl the hdd is mounted to the system but it depends....

I always end up restarting the computer and MPC and try again but the reality is that if your lucky, it will work. Keep trying.
