Is there anyway to get wav samples into an EPS classic

I know I could just sample something but I have these 808s and 909 kits that I really like and wants to use in my EPS but I am not sure if its possible. Has anyone tried something like this. Btw I am using the 13 bit EPS classic

if the files arent to big sysex dump and if not that awave sample convert and write it to a floppy

whats sysex dump and how do i do it? i am on a pc running windows xp 32 bit is it possible with what i have?

a midi interface you connect the midi out and midi in to the midi out and midi in of your interface

and you have to get a program capable of it
i use c6 by elektron without ever having a problem

i'm sure the eps is capable of it mostly all samplers are look in your manual
but its all a matter of loading a sample into the program and then dump it very simple process
BUT BE AWARE
sysex takes a long time for long samples i wouldn't recommend it for anything other then drums or short synth samples

Guess you kinda answered your own question there buddy.

You know what to do, no point getting involved with sysex dumps.

Keep it simple, SAMPLE.

whats wrong with Sys-ex dumps? I cant seem to get any sound back from these dumps either. The EPS says it recieved the info but I cant find a way to assign the sounds at all.

System exclusive dumps, by todays standards, are probably the longest way of getting a sample from one place to another.

Sy-ex does of course have other uses, best reserved for geeky vintage synth owners and midi experts.

You shouldnt really have to go there, unless you want to. There are other, more intuitive, user friendly methods.
