No.

The trimpots may have to be adjusted due to other reasons. There is a service disc for the MPC 60 which is not available and even if you did have it, you would have to rely on the schematic along with a mulitimeter, scope and math to figure out the adjustments... one warning -- if you start tweaking things you do not understand, you run the risk of royally screwing up your equipment.

Mh, i just read that changing the capacitors was no solution for a similar kind of problem. they look pretty clean and new as well.
I am just wondering what else I could check

Yeah!!! I just put in another disc and there is no noise ... I cannot imagine where it comes from within the other project/sounds. I mean it has no structure. i just thought about if it is still the memory expansion because the noises came with a program (2 discs big) whereas no noise came with a 1 disc program.
