Uhm... the MPC Chopping doesn't have a mouse? Sorry had to stretch for that one lol.

In my opinion, the really sick thing about his software is taking files you chopped up in your JJ MPC, and then converting them to individual wave files. There is no fast way to do this for now.

Hopefully JJ will implement this soon.

so fast as you choose the slices and press the button "slice2wav"

would be awesome if you could create a NDC wav from jjchop instead of just importing. for example, if i had a regular wav on my computer, i could load it into jjchop then add slices, then transfer to mpc. right now the wav has to come from the mpc originally and you can only edit. right?

i'd like to beable to download my samples (say from youtube) convert to wav, load into jjchop, chop/slice, then drag to mpc.

or am i missing something?

the current way makes sense if you are sampling from the mpc and just need the computer to do that extra bit, but what if your sample originates from non mpc source?

you are missing something :wink: . You can load a regular wav and add any chops. Try it.
