Problem with my external drive

Has anyone ever had a problem with there external HD losing access to partitions after trying to save a seq? I can only see one partition and the HD grinds when you try to scroll to where the other ones should be from the MPC2000XL. I hope I have not lost everything I created since 2002.

but either ways this should be a lesson for you (and all of us)
of keeping at least 2 back ups of our work.
