THis is me again, your were abig help, but now I have one more question. Can you tell me what setting you changed in Nuendo and your mpc to get the mpc to sync with nuendo with the mpc being the slave

mpc:
mpc midi sync setup (shift+9)
set mpc to receive mtc 30fps and mmc: on

nuendo (or cubase SX same settings):
Transport -> Sync Setup
Set it to send mtc 30fps and mmc.

set the tempo the same on both. hit play or rec/play on the mpc and it will wait until it receives the start command from nuendo when you hit play or record in nuendo.
