Can you sample from your itunes library or Serato?!

Im going to be moving abroad and I dont feel like dealing with the hassle of shipping a shit load of vinyl. If I transfer all my vinyl to my computer via USB turntable and put those files into my Serato library or itunes, is it possible to sample music from my libraries and transfer them to my mpc? Im probably going to sell some of my equipment and vinyl to get the Serato program and cop maybe 1 NS7 turntable.

Yeah, with serato your still going to have a dj mixer just run your dj mixer 1/4 inch outputs into the rec inputs on your mpc then you can sample anything from serato playing through your mixer


right now I have numark dm06 dj mixer 1/4 ich outputs going into mpc 2000 rec inputs i play serato and scratch the parts of a beat and/or accepellas from my collbo artists and sample the scratching into the mpc 2000 then work it into the tracks

all the scratching in this track was sampled the way your asking about

basically what your asking is if you can sample an mp3/wav, the answer is yes..

^^yea basically but I just wanted to make sure. BTW Dope snoop remix BGBeats. Also can you record mixes and stuff you did on serato? or do I need to get a separate DAW for to record? SOrry im a noob when it comes to software and all this digital ish because Im still oldschool. I just use a mpc, turntable and a mixer.
