Actually descry, that is false. MPC does not have "0ms". People have to realize that MPC is still a computer albeit a very limited one. Both MPC and Maschine has negligible amount of unnoticeable latency. Of course, on the Maschine it is dependent on the CPU/soundcard of the user. Latency is basically a non-issue for most people today. Anyone bringing that up as an issue is just looking for an excuse.

I dare you to say something negative about the machine, i double dare you, you cant can you, how about i pay you, or perhaps you already getting paid.

What you didn't get from my point is that the experience of using Maschine is far different than what people normally associate with experience of matching a pad controller like MPD with a software-only tool. Maschine feels more like you're using standalone hardware like MPC but without the inherent limitation of standalone hardware. It feels more like an instrument that you can get a quick hands-on workflow as opposed to still having to use the mouse or stare at a computer screen which can break up the flow. These are some of many reasons why so many people are moving onto Maschine after having used the MPC for many years. That doesn't mean that some people won't always prefer the MPC or that some won't use both or neither. None of that changes the reality that Maschine is a game changer for many and it's silly getting worked up over it just because you don't want to accept that. If it's not for you, just move on.

I respect that you want to write about the positive of aspects of Maschine. But there are some shortcomings especially when being compared to the latest MPCs.

But all your posts you write about the same thing over and over again. You know that you have to use the keyboard and mouse for some functions. You know that you cannot run Maschine's software completely from the hardware. If you actually addressed the areas where Maschine lacks, you would have more credibility here. Until then, you are a snake oil salesman.

Lets talk about the specific features of Maschine...for once.

Yeah, if you have lots of hardware to sequence and require more than 16 midi channels, MPC makes more sense.

The thing about MPC it does not need to change with the times its has already done and is living in the now and what is to come.
You want all software well here you go:Image+Image.
Now you got 4 x 16=64 midi tracks all for soft ware and for the next 10 years i can add software instruments plugs, melodyn studio plugs, more instruments  more instruments  more.

Not to be laughing at the ignorance off all this, people read the damm manual. Figure out what you trying to do and where you want your studio setup in the next 5-10 years. for Image $1900.00. What are you in the game for making musick or for someone else to make the musik for you.

aight hold up. its too difficult trying to read thru a 20+ page thread wit folks fighting for their allegiances. I could give a fuk fam. I just got one question.

Can the maschine do real-timestretching per pad/sample? I think it does but i need a solid yes from a user. I beleive the mpc 1000 w/ JJOS2 can as well (although not in realtime). Am i understanding correctly?

Not yet. But NI has been working on it since at least version 1.1. I expect to see it implemented by version 2. It would be a welcome addition for sure but I use Maschine with Live at the moment so I have my all my timestretch needs covered.

emptysea... do you have ANY music at all that you've made with the maschine?? and i don't mean music by other people, but by YOU on the maschine... 'cause this whole thread is nothing but a wet dream of yours unless you can actually show some finished product you've made with it. seriously, your used-car-saleman's pitch got old months ago. prove your **** point [if you have one] with actual product or just stfu already and go spam elsewhere on the internet.

also, if the maschine can't do something... just say it can't. don't say NOT YET... because the same could be said about any of the JJOS versions which are also in constant development... "the MPC can't do that yet, but JJ may add it down the line..."

NI got they dick in yo mouth fam. I hope they paying you cause you puttin in work. I been waiting on NI to add this since it dropped. I dont trust NI for shit...that jawn should AT LEAST have the same features as the current MPCs. Then you wouldnt have to ride so hard on the forums. N1ggas would know.

but i do appreciate the clarification

everyone is talking about the "controller" and forgets the stressing pc handling- install/dongles etc.

i use mpc to quick spontaneous make beats WITHOUT pc!

mpc---> power button/load samples, tapping beat.

ni is cheaper than a mpc

but we see that controllers/soft don t keep their value for the money,

mpc hardware does. this alone speaks for itself.

i belive we re seeing only the beginning of a new concepts workflows,

it may take 2-5 years to get mature - a combi af ni machine-mpc-and vst-station

in one box...
