Insert MPC 2000 disk

I just bought an MPC 2000 online. When I turn it on it says Insert MPC 2000 disk! I also bought a boot disk version 1.72. When I put that in it, it says no system file!! I really dont know what to do now. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Or know how to fix it?

I figured it out. I went to the akaipro website and installed the version 1.72 operating system on to a floppy disk. Then I unzipped the file that was downloaded onto the floppy. I left both the zipped file and the unzipped file on the floppy. I inserted that into the MPC 2000 and now it works.
