Hey all, i hope this a a common problem but i can't find the solution googling or looking through threads on here..
i have an issue where if i drum out a track on my MPC500- say three kicks on the first beat then a snare on the second beat followed by kick on third, snare on fourth and repeat for the second bar... it'll sound fine when i play it but when the playback loops around to the start it'll squash up the timing of the first beat so instead of having three nicely spaced kicks, they'll be all skrunched together then i'll progress normally to the second beat and play fine after that... until it loops back to the first beat of the first bar where it'll mess up the timing again. The weird thing is that sometimes when i start fresh it doesn't do this... but most of the time it does. i see this behavior with the built in samples as well as those on flash cards. can anyone shed some light on this?
