I had asked Dave Smith for this for a long long time which makes me think I wasn't the only one now lol...since the mo'pho came out actually...I said simply give us hands on knobs in a keyboard like the Pro One or a rack! The Mo'Pho as it was...wasss pretty useless.
I wasn't initially keen on the sound of the Mo'Pho even comparing it to older modern analogues such as the Waldorf Pulse but I am growing to it and now that it has knobs it's a very tempting buy..seriously
Another good thing is like on the Pulse and Bass Station Rack you can Poly-Chain the Mo'Pho keyboard to make it polyphonic as demonstrated here by Dave

A jupiter 8 would be nice but this thing is not even close price wise to a JP...or even a Pro-One

A note to any person veiwing, probably buy the tetra over the mopho kybd, doesn't everyone here have a few midi controllers and the four voices must sound pretty amazing

Biggest difference with anything in this thread is that it is digital.

i gotta agree... i guess it's essentially just an SH-201 that's been a lil shrunken-down and given a face-lift... i'll pass.

We already had a SH-01 back in the 70's and it kicked this things ass into another dimension and what's with the nasty looking white casing?!
The knob panel looks good cos it looks like the old skool SH series.
Roland lost the plot with PROPER synths ages ago bar the V-Synth and their work stations..and they have such creative names! TB-303, SP-303, EF-303 not to mention all the other magic number ripp offs i.e. 202, 808 and so on ohhh please! f*off Roland no one cares..stop repacking the same old sh*t into new boxes. I smell JP8080andSH32 in this with a slight hint of the 201 hey this ain't got a thing on the old SH32, just cos younger producers don't know your past products don't mean you can rip them off.

Oh and general midi..hahah don't make me laugh, on a Serious synth...General Midi, thats an insult.
