Using the 1000 outdoors (portable style)

I tried searching for this topic but I didn't find anything, so here goes.

I want to jam with my 1k in an outdoor area, most likely with a battery powered amp. The only problem is plugging the MP into something, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could buy to provide power?

you mean like a generator, or an inverter so you could plug it into a car?

u can buy one of those adapters for your car.u plug it into your ciggerette lighter and then plug your mpc or w/e else u want

around 100 bucks now this is assuming you did not want to plug into car, this you could use ANYWHERE

thanks for the replies, I decided to opt for something smaller, like a laptop battery extender. I don't think I'm gonna plug it in into the car though. I'll see how it goes, if not I'll have to get something like what bg posted

mpc 500 takes batteries and is easier than a generator.....

i was looking into the options last year when i was wondering how i would keep using mp after the big apocalypse and power goes down...

what i found to be the best and coolest thing is those new military style foldable solarpanels + batterypack

im not 100% that would work with the mpc but from what i can understand it should.. for how many hours is an interesting question. what uses more power, a laptop or a mpc1k ?

mpc1000 only uses 19watts laptops use like 60
