Will this work with my mpc?

Hey guys, i got this device from a mate an Onstream ADR with 3x 30gb cartridges. It's an external device (Like a Zip drive) with 2 parallel ports on the back (female and male) but not got the number section like a zip drive (5 or 6). He said it could be useful to me after seeing me with an external zip drive scsi on my MPC 2000. So i thought i would give it a go. Unfortunately i have no luck with it (and I'm not too good with scsi devices).


So I'm looking for a bit of help. I have plugged it in and when i boot up the mpc and go in to "disk" it just says "Wait" or something. its like if it know its there but can't see it (if you know what i mean). I've left the Waiting sign on for 30 mins and nothing happens.

Is it any good or should i just smack my mate in the mouth with it?

What's the difference between a VGA and HDMI Cable?
They are just different protocols (standarts) for carrying data, SCSI being the faster one of the two.

Looks like your mate is gonna need some ice for the fat lip your about to deliver. Parellel is a no go.
