Two Pad Questions

1. How do I assign to sounds so that they both play when I hit one pad?

2. How do set up pads so that when I hit two pads the first pad's sound gets cut off when I hit the 2nd pad ?

1.
go into program (shift-6)
Go down with the cursor to 'pad', and hit the pad your first sound is on.
Now go down to 'mode' and change it to "simult'. Go to the right and select the second sound with the jogwheel, you can listen to the result if you press play (f6 i think)

2.
Still in the program screen. go to 'pad' again, and hit the pad the second sound is under. Go to 'parameters' and change poly to 'mono'


I hope i got all that right, i'm not in front of my MPC right now.
