im an xl user through and through for various reasons , and it is awesome that this is now finally included (i think jj promised it a while back)... but ,sadly, theres no evidence to say that qlink data can be added on top of each other yet- that is still a big hurdle for some os1 and os2 users. As far as i know jj did not express an intention to change that either- although itd be great if he did.

All the more strange that 2500 updates have been slower than 1000.....?????

True, but as long as he's improving the feature set I can wait.

Does this mean you can't assign the pan to track one (or pad one) and record it, then record pan info on another track (or pad)?

i think what he means is that even tho it appears JJ has brought back MIXER automation to XL, you still can't record 2 passes of qlink REALTIME & NOTE ON variation like in os 1 & 2.

so i'm sure you can have each pad/track have it's own PAN & LEVEL settings recorded, but you still can't have, for example, PITCH & SAMPLE START changing at the same time.

that's the big one i'm waiting for, tho JJ has said it can't be done. if he pulls it off, i'll switch for sure. still, this is a good addition for XL users. i'm glad he's still adding features.
