Who would you say (besides James Brown and the JB"s) is the most sampled artist?

incredible bongo band

'apache' is the most sampled break ever. it beats j.brown's 'funky drummer' and the winstons 'amen brother' - not only in hip hop but any form of breakbeat music raped it... drum'n'bass-broken beats-big beat, etc.

i read an interview with flavor flav in witch he said he was the most sampled voice in the world,i'm with the funky drummer on the most sampled drums...kinda miss it nowadays.

Maybe that'll be my pick for "drums" for the Digger forum beat battle.
