Syncing MPC3000 to Pro Tools and Yamaha Motif ES6

Does anyone know how to sync up the MPC3000 to a Yamaha Motif? And to get more further in depth with that question, does anyone know how to Sync the MPC 3000 to the Pro Tools Mbox? If someone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated

I actually got the MPC synced to the Motif but when I press the keyboard it plays 2 sounds like a drum kit with a piano or when I select a channel or voice on the motif which would be a track on the 3000, it plays a piano and the synth sound I have selected...Does anyone know why this may be?

I think I fixed the sound problem because now just one sound plays, but now I lost the ability to record into the MPC...the Motif and MPC seem to be talking to each other but I cant get the MPC to record what Im playing on the Motif
