Changing the note of sample without changing it's pitch ?

How do you change the note of a sample without changing the pitch on it ? Kind of like changing the note but keeping the same speed or pitch of the original sample.

The note of the sample is the pitch. Are you talking about changing the key (note/pitch) without changing the speed/tempo of the sample?

If so, you need to tune it to the desired pitch, then timestretch it back to the original length. There is already a thread on this page covering this technique in detail.
