remixing acapellas in the 500????

word............how the hell do u make a beat witha acapella in 500? coz u cant change individual track length,only sequence length..right? so it will jst loop first bars of the aca..? only had my mpc for 3 days...jst learnin everythin..peace and thanks

pretty much all i've been doing for the last 4 months is remixes. i have the 500 and the wayi do it is...

1) i insert 2 seconds of silence in front of the acapella inside of sound forge, to give me time to sync it with the beat

2) just hit play on the 500.

3) then when i have it playing correctly, i track the beat to the computer and put the acapella with it and finish it all up in cubase
